AIME MUNYANGANZO is an experienced professional consultant with 19 years
combining Entrepreneurship, rural development Banking/Microfinance experience,
and served banking sector for more than 12 years that include five in financial
inclusion with Microfinance.
Currently he is a visiting Coach and Consultant in Rwanda for American based KULA project, Association of Microfinance (AMIR), AFR and other MFI’s for Entrepreneurship Trainings, Deployment of Mobile AgentsNetwork, MSMEs and Agriculture Cooperatives, offering tailored coaching in Market analysis, Access to Finance, Operations.
His new frontiers being the development of SMEs solutions, Micro/Small Business development, the impact of Digital Finance solutions and practices, with aim to accelerating Access to Finance by the underprivileged segment of the market to alleviate poverty in rural households and refugees.
He has and still provides Leadership Development Coaching Program solutions for Cooperatives in Eastern and South and Eastern Provinces under the American Based Kula Project, and designed Modules for rural Entrepreneurship Program, to support Mentors action in the facilitation process to engage Coffee farmers in SMEs.
His past SMEs consulting works include facilitation training to 6 Business Groupsin Nyagatare (Eastern Province) and Huye (Southern Province) under the supervision of One Village one Product Program (OVOP) supported by the Japanese International Cooperation Agency (JICA).
He led the deployment of Mobile Banking solutions at Vision Fund Rwanda and provided consulting for Financial Linkages with Cooperatives for VISION FUND Global Office (UK).
He pioneered first E-Banking initiative that saw the deployment of first ATMs cohort in Rwanda back in 2000 for BCDI (today known as ECOBANK), later positions include Banks Operations, Customer Relationships Management for Individual and Corporate Clients, Education and E-banking projects implementation at ECOBANK, COGEBANK and UOB LTD.
He also pioneered the launch of Education Finance and E-BANKING at URWEGO OPPORTUNITY BANK (UOB LTD) respectively as Education Finance Manager and E-Banking Manager, managing grants from prominent donors that include DFID (UK),
Opportunity International Germany (GERMANY), VITANA(USA), Merry Year International (South Korea),taking care of regular reporting at local and international level, along with Monitoring and Evaluation.
