From September 24th to 27th, 2024, RICEM hosted the Cooperative Leadership Seminar 2024. This event brought together leaders of cooperative societies and innovative entrepreneurs under the theme "Making Successful Cooperative Societies and Innovative Entrepreneurs : Challenges, Opportunities, and New Trends."
The seminar provided valuable knowledge, offering participants the opportunity to deepen their understanding of key issues affecting the cooperative sector. Discussions focused on topics such as new cooperative laws, taxation frameworks, and strategies for accessing finance. Esteemed speakers from institutions such as the Rwanda Cooperative Agency (RCA), and Bank of Kigali (BK) shared valuable insights, offering fresh perspectives on how to navigate challenges faced by cooperatives while seizing emerging opportunities.
In addition to the informative sessions, the event provided a vibrant platform for participants to network and forge meaningful connections. Leaders and entrepreneurs from diverse sectors mingled, exchanged ideas, and explored potential collaborations, fostering a sense of community and support among like-minded individuals.
We were delighted to offer our renowned hospitality to our guests, providing a comfortable and conducive environment for learning and engagement. Attendees enjoyed not only the well-curated program but also the camaraderie over shared meals, especially during the tea breaks and lunch breaks, which provided additional opportunities for informal discussions and relationship-building.
As the seminar ended, it was clear that the Cooperative Leadership Seminar 2024 had ignited new ideas and strengthened the foundation for future success in the cooperative movement. By embracing innovative approaches and staying informed on the latest trends, we believe that the leaders who attended will continue to drive positive change within their organizations and the broader community. We are proud to have been part of this transformative event and look forward to witnessing the lasting impact of the discussions and connections made.
