In a strong demonstration of institutional collaboration, the Rwanda Institute of Cooperatives, Entrepreneurship and Microfinance (RICEM) and the Rwanda Cooperative Agency (RCA) successfully concluded a 4-day strategic workshop aimed at enhancing the capacity of cooperatives across the country. The workshop focused on the customization of training modules that respond directly to the evolving needs of cooperatives in various sectors.
This joint effort marks a significant step toward standardizing and improving the quality of cooperative training in Rwanda. By aligning technical content with real field challenges and opportunities, RICEM and RCA are working together to ensure that cooperatives receive relevant, practical, and results-driven support.
Through this collaboration, both institutions reaffirm their commitment to building stronger, well-governed, and competitive cooperatives that can meaningfully contribute to Rwanda’s socio-economic transformation. The outcomes of this workshop set the foundation for a more impactful and coordinated national cooperative development strategy.
