Five-Day Post-Licensing Training for DSACCO Leaders and Staff

The Rwanda Institute of Cooperatives, Entrepreneurship and Microfinance (RICEM), in collaboration with the Rwanda Cooperative Agency (RCA), is currently conducting a five-day Post-Licensing Training Program for District SACCO (DSACCO) Board Members, Credit Committee Members, and key staff.

This training is organized under the DSACCO Capacity Development Program approved by MINECOFIN, and implemented in partnership with key stakeholders including BNR, RCA, RICEM, and DSIK, as part of the USACCO automation and consolidation initiative.

Training Objective

The program aims to strengthen the capacity of DSACCO leadership and staff in Loan Management and Portfolio Analysis, contributing to :

1. Improved credit governance and sound lending practices

2. Enhanced portfolio quality and institutional performance

3. Stronger credit risk management systems

4. Increased financial sustainability of DSACCOs
