Mr. Fulgence Mwenedata is an independent consultant with profound expertise in the financial sector, business development and in microfinance development. He is experienced in financial sector/banking for over 11 years, whereby 8 years on managerial level in microfinance development. He is a proven professional in market analysis, branch performance coordination as dean of managers, monitoring of key performance indicators ( KPIs), business development, examining double missions of MFIs, portfolio management, know-your-customer concept (KYC), financial education and risk management. Furthermore Mr. Mwenedata has evidence of professional expertise in loan and delinquency management, deposit mobilization, marketing activities, Dual System training, and in coaching and mentoring.

He served as a facilitator in Smart Campaign for consumer protection principles for institutional assessment, Goshen Finance Plc. Since 2018, as a champion in charge of completion of double mission of MFI in Goshen Finance PLC where the focus was to examine finance performance management (FPM) and social performance management (SPM), development of ethics and code of conduct document in Goshen Finance PLC. Due to reasonable performance he showed, he has been promoted as Dean of Managers in Goshen Finance PLC. From 2018 he provided training in financial education in rural areas of Gasabo to support and develop a group lending product.

Mr. Mwenedata is well-known, as developer of training concept where he also provided those trainings of business coaching, especially for Business Development Advisors (BDA) from sectors in all Districts of Rwanda, in partnership with Rwanda Institute of Cooperatives Entrepreneurship and Microfinance (RICEM). Since 2018, he works as a trainer on credit analysis and professional recovery in Economic Policy Research Network (EPRN).
In partnership with DSIK and Rwanda Institute of Cooperatives Entrepreneurship and Microfinance (RICEM) towards Training mastering, he serves in Dual Apprenticeship System where he delivers two modules to apprentices from MFIs : ‘Cashiering management and professional customer care’ and ‘loan and delinquency management’.

He is part of the expert teams in charge of training and modules development for organizations such as The Rwanda Institute of Cooperatives Entrepreneurship and Microfinance (RICEM), Economic Policy Research Network (EPRN) : Delinquency management, portfolio analysis for managers and credit analysis and recovery.

Mr. Fulgence Mwenedata completed Master’s studies in Applied Sciences in Economics from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology. In addition to that he holds a bachelor degree in Economics in Monetary Economics awarded from University of Rwanda.

He is certified in languages proficiency awarded from University of Rwanda, in Design Thinking for Innovation from University of Virginia in Darden School of Business, USA, in Cash Flow Lending to Small and Medium Enterprises (SME) lending from Association of Microfinance Institutions in Rwanda (AMIR, 2014), in training of coaches for microfinance institutions awarded by Association of Microfinance Institutions in Rwanda (AMIR, 2016), Germany Cooperation and Savings Bank Foundation for International Cooperation (SBFIC), Designing and Delivering Youth Appropriate Financial services Trainings awarded by USAID and Connexus (2017), in Leadership Development awarded from University of Rwanda (2010), in Civic Education from University of Rwanda (2009), A2 Certificate in Teaching, TTC Kibuye (2006).

He is fluent in many languages, such as Kinyarwanda, French, English and Swahili.
