
RICEM has joined forces with the Feed the Future Hanga Akazi USAID Project to provide a comprehensive 24-day bakery training program. This inclusive initiative aims to equip 74 participants, including individuals with disabilities, with the skills and knowledge needed to excel in the baking industry.
The training program delve into various aspects of bakery operations, from mastering fundamental bread-making techniques to honing cake decorating skills. Participants will gain valuable knowledge on essential topics such as food safety, hygiene practices, and efficient production methods.
This partnership between RICEM and Feed the Future Hanga Akazi underscores their commitment to fostering an inclusive and thriving baking sector in Rwanda. By equipping participants with practical skills and fostering entrepreneurship, the program empowers individuals with disabilities to actively contribute to the economy and achieve self-sufficiency.
